Interested in working together? I’d love to hear from you!
Hi, I’m Abby!
I’m a photographer forged in the music industry. Years spent in green rooms, studios, and under unforgiving stage lights taught me how to move fast, read energy, and capture moments before they disappear. That environment shaped how I work. Instinct-driven, intentional, and uninterested in anything staged or overly polished.
Being self taught I always had an emphasis on the analog process. With my first camera in tow, a Pentax K1000, I learned the ins and outs of shaping and bending light. My early work focused on the Oregon coast, where I spent summers with my family, refining my craft through repetition and observation. Photographing the raw and unforgiving landscapes sharpened my skills and instilled a deep respect for place, patience, and process.
I shoot both film and digital because each brings something different to the table. Film brings grit, texture, and restraint. Digital brings speed, flexibility, and immediacy. I love the emotion both mediums bring, and believe they can stand powerfully on their own or play well together. Working across multiple mediums keeps me flexible, responsive, and able to approach each project from more than one angle. Literally. And creatively.
I provide creative direction and end-to-end production, helping shape, execute, and deliver visuals and campaigns that move seamlessly from concept to final output. I also offer social media management, consulting, and content creation, thinking past the frame and into how images live and travel. On a website, in a feed, across a campaign, or printed large on a wall.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I’m deeply connected to the creative communities here. I love collaborating with local artists, makers, brands, and businesses doing things their own way. The magic is already there. I just capture it.
