Meet AJ

AJ Press

(they/them)

AJ Press is a queer non-binary photographer from the Pacific Northwest, specializing in analog + digital media. With a knack for capturing incredible moments on film or digital, they are able to create images and media that evoke nostalgia. Working both in and out of the music industry, AJ has experience with portraiture, live music photography, corporate event photography, as well as travel based non-profit work.

In June of 2023, AJ co-founded ‘Nightshift Magazine’ as a collaborative creative project with their business partner. Nightshift Magazine is currently building a new website to be launched in late summer 2024.

AJ has worked extensively with non-profit organizations like the Oregon Food Bank. A large portion of AJ’s 2023 portfolio was contracted with the OFB. With the food bank, AJ was able to travel all across Oregon documenting the reality of food insecurity throughout the state. AJ is open to more travel based non-profit work as well as music industry opportunities.
